1. Cooking dinner together is a major crowd-pleaser. You have to have cooperation, invention and an unexpected dose of sensuality. Try a new recipe or – for the real gourmets among you – create something from scratch after making a shopping trip. A three-course fondue sampling (cheese, meats, chocolate) can be the benchmark for culinary romance.
3. In-Home Picnic – Think of the elation on his/her face when he/she walks in after a brutal day at the office and finds a blanket on the living room floor, and on it has a healthy spread of yummy edibles and libations all ready to graze.
6. Spa Night – You will need massage oils, towels, ambient tunes, a big porcelain (or cheaper, imitation-grade ceramic) tub and bath salts (er, not that kind!!!). Be gentle, sensual and be sure to always offer your spouse the option of having a very happy ending.

Board Games or Puzzles – Having a family game night for two is a very good alternative to the normal routine of mac and cheese with a half-a-season new show that everyone is talking about via Facebook. Mainly because you really, like, engage one another and don’t mindlessly share space with no conscious thought. Hyper-competitive couples can find playing a board game to be very stressful (like Scrabble; stay away from that one if you’re the win-at-all-costs type), so go for something more lighthearted (“No threes. Go fish.”) or just try a jigsaw puzzle together.
