Argentine cuisine is food in Argentina and is heavily influenced by European cuisine and in particular Italian cuisine. Typical meals include various pasta dishes (fideos, –oquis, raviolis), mashed potatoes (pure de papas), and a number of meat dishes (carne asada, milanesa, lomo, empanadas) Traditional Argentine foods include: * Milanesa * Empanadas * Asado * Locro The national beverages of Argentina are a tea-like drink called Mate and wine.
