April Glaspie

April Catherine Glaspie (born 1942) was U.S. ambassador to Iraq until the 1991
Gulf War. Some time after that, she was U.S. consul general in Cape Town, South
Africa, and at some other time, she worked for UNRWA on the West Bank.
